Paul Basil Tahan is a graduate of 35 years in the construction business who also graduated from Ramapo College with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology. His entire career has been spent in the home building industry.
Over 20 years as a sub-contractor in the prefabricated fireplace business, Paul started at TG Makmy, Inc. then Prefabricated Fireplace Company (PFC). Departing the fireplace business in 1995 he spent 5 years as an independent General Contractor in his first business, Bay-Lil Construction and Property Management, Inc. His projects included custom home building as well as custom additions and renovations. Bay-Lil is still an active corporation doing business in New Jersey. The last 9 years Paul has returned to sub-contracting. His company, Professional Stone Stucco and Siding Applicators, Inc. (PSSSA), is providing labor and material for stone, brick, stucco and siding jobs throughout New Jersey and into parts of New York and Pennsylvania. As his stone veneer business grew Paul recognized the opportunity to expand into manufacturing. In addition to being President of PSSSA, Paul is a member of Silk City Stone, LLC. located in Paterson, NJ. Silk City Stone, LLC has developed a line of thin brick and stone veneer. As a regional manufacturer using recycled materials in the manufacturing of its product line Silk City Stone offers many advantages over its national competitors. With service as a key ingredient Paul has been able to build and maintain a strong customer base. When the opportunity was offered to him to pick up a nationally recognized prefabricated fireplace line, he had no doubts. Prefabricated fireplaces were a perfect compliment to his existing businesses. Now, a member at Professional Fireplace Services, LLC, Paul has put together a family of services his customers can turn to for one stop shopping with service and professionalism required in todays demanding economy.
